Corporate video is any video that you use in your business–i.e. a promotional, training or safety video.
A corporate video can be as simple as videotaping an event as it happens or as involved as shooting a movie.
Producing a video is broken up into three distinct phases:
Phase One: Pre-Production
Phase Two: Production
Phase Three: Post Production
Pre-Production
Find production company
Discuss video,
Research if necessary
Brainstorm ideas
Develop script
Create storyboards
Contact vendors to get needed equipment
Scout locations
Get permits
Conduct auditions and hire actors
Create shooting schedule
Production
This is when we do all of the shooting. This phase could take one day or several weeks to complete depending on the project.
Post Production
This is the editing phase where we edit the video, add music, graphics, sound effects to create a rough cut. The client will review the video and any adjustments can be made.
Once we are finished with the editing, the client will screen the video, then we prepare it for distribution.
Distribution
The finished video can be distributed on videotape, CD-Rom, DVD-Rom, web video or film.
